2nd day in London: we went to the Tower bridge, Chinatown and Covent garden.

Yesterday we went to Westminster, it's really beautiful :)

Jetair just called me to inform me that they will have to upgrade me to the 5 star hotel in Mahdia, Tunisia (the same hotel where I stayed 4 times in the last times) because the cheaper hotel I chose will not open due to unsuficient number of reservations.

Life is beautiful!

Last weekend there were demonstrations all over the country to show how desperate people are concerning unemployment and poverty. This is a picture from Porto's downtown:


Monday, my little brother (who's not so little anymore) showed me a new game while we were at the restaurant eating "francesinhas".


The game game consist in placing the numbers from 1 to 25 in a grill, in a certain way. This is a possible solution:

The day before my departure to Porto, we prepared a homemade japanese meal.



I've used risotto instead of sushi rice and it was legen... (wait for it) ...dary :)

Programa de hoje: visita do castelo. Assistimos ao render da guarda (mais uma vez estávamos no sítio certo no momento certo). Se não fosse o frio que está, teria sido perfeito. Aaaaaaaaah!

O programa de hoje incluiu a subida à torre do relógio às 19h, momento em que milhares de pessoas se reuniam para ver o espectáculo de luz e som.

A vista da torre é magnifica. Finalmente começo a perceber porque é que dizem que Praga é tao bonita. E isto somos nós a fazer pose :)

The weather is beautiful but it's f... cold. I was supposed to go towards the sun, I think I went in the wrong direction.

Done so far: visited the old part of the town with Ana, found my favorite ginger candy in a tiny shop, took a few pictures and ate lots of chocolate (not necessarily in that order).
